The Community Literacy of Ontario (CLO) is a provincial literacy network of 100 community literacy agencies across Ontario.
Need to find the social services offered by the County of Wellington?
Action Read offers adults help with reading, writing, math, GED prep, upgrading as well as family literacy programs.
TVO ILC provides flexible, affordable online high school courses.
The United Way works with community groups to address social needs with funding and program support.
2nd Chance makes employment counselling and guidance available for job seekers. Search their job board for employment opportunities.
NWT Literacy Council is a territorial organization supporting literacy and essential skills in the official languages of the NWT.
Agilec has career training, professional development and others services for individuals and businesses including a job search board.
Employment Ontario helps job seekers, workers, and employers with advice, grants and other services.
Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development promotes and enforces employment standards, as well as helping settle workplace disputes, and supports apprenticeships, the skilled trades, industry training and employment services in Ontario.
Adult literacy and essential skills programs are free to citizens in Ontario. Contact Project READ to find a program near you in Waterloo Region or Guelph-Wellington. They can also help adults to identify their skill levels and link them with a program that best suits their needs.
The Learning Disabilities Association of Wellington County offers a range of programs including parent support groups, social skills groups for children and a wide range of educational and advocacy activities.
